The matches of Saturday, 10/12 weren't overly competitive, but did make for some great entertainment. First up was a convincing Chris victory over rival NPT, paced by a key NPT to Dryleaf Dane that would have won him a critical backhand blade square.
Chris has been very focused on optimal strategy. By bringing his weapon along quickly, he was able to smash Dryleaf Dane before NPT recovered from an out of character incident with this mercurial NPC.
Chris did not let up after that, and the match's turning point occurred when both players were simultaneously moving towards Gaius/Golden Braid. NPT grabbed the Golden Braid, but then didn't seem to realize had to pivot to Gaius while Chris fought Tree Sentinel duo, quickly frosting and bleeding out the pair. Chris' lead became insurmountable.

The match between Aggy and his girlfriend Parky was a professional, close encounter that boiled down to the fact that Aggy knew Parky could not do Ancient Dragon Sennesax or Death Rite Bird, and he used those squares to get a quick bingo. Had Aggy been blocked, the match would have likely been a lot closer, as the two read each other's moves well in the short afternoon match.
Vswed and Adef are fighting out a close one now.
